Our final update before travel

We received a message from Jian Hong's orphanage today. They provided us with her measurements so that we can buy clothes and shoes for her to wear, and they told us that she has not stopped smiling since she heard the news that her parents will be coming to bring her home in a couple of weeks. We have received "orders" to arrive in her province on Christmas Day and to depart after 7 p.m. on January 4th. She will be ours so very soon! It seems that Christmas will take on a whole new meaning for us this year.

The Best Christmas Gift Ever!!! Cannot wait to see this sweet girl with her family. I hope you will be updating from China.

3/14/2011: We formally accept the referral to adopt Jian Hong.
3/22/2011: China issues our Preliminary Approval to Adopt.
5/09/2011: Our Adoption Home Study is finalized.
5/11/2011: We file our I800A (Parent Suitability to Adopt an Orphan) with USCIS (US Immigration).
7/15/2011: USCIS (US Immigration) issues our I800A Approval (Parent Suitability to Adopt an Orphan).
8/01/2011: DTC (Dossier To China).
8/10/2011: LID (Dossier Log-In Date in China).
9/19/2011: LOA (China issues Letter of Approval to Adopt).
10/7/2011: USCIS (US Immigration) issues I800 Approval to Adopt Jian Hong.
10/20/2011: NVC Cable and Approval Letter.
11/15/2011: Article 5 Approval.
11/22/2011: Travel Approval from China.
12/23/2011: Travel to China.
12/26/2011: "GOTCHA" DAY!!!!!!!!!!!
12/27/2011: Finalize adoption
1/3/2012: CA (U.S. Consulate Appointment)
1/5/2012: Home Together, Our Family Complete.
